Owen at Gymnastics on March 5th 2011

Owen had another great day at gymnastics.  He is still the most enthusiastic kid in the class.  We are working on listening to coach Bert which is going well and progressing.  He has improved on all of the gymnastic skills and the great thing is he does not needed to be coached to try any of the drills.  He has been determined to do a proper forward roll and by the end of his lesson, he nailed one.  He really likes duck duck goose so we are going to try and get some kids over before next Saturday to practice.

Owen is always really excited about everything.  It is great seeing him go all out for the 45 minutes.  You will often hear him yell out "I did it!!!!!"  He then finished the lesson saying "Thanks Coach Bert, Have a Great Day".  It was a little hard for Coach Bert to be upset about the lack of listening.  Gymnastics is something Owen started teaching himself by trying out new little tricks around the house.  It would usually be a spin on one leg with a "check out my moves" comment.  Now Ella is experimenting with her own moves.
