William Joel Hofheimer "Will" the first month

William Joel Hofheimer (Will) was born August 3rd at 12:55 PM.  He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19.2 inches long and was healthy and altert.  I actually got to grip his head and shoulders and pull him out which was amazing.  He slowly scanned the new environment in sort of a "what the heck is all this stuff" look.  He made a small wimper, then was pulled onto Rachel's chest and immediately started feeding.  Rachel did a great job.  Due to being induced and having an epidural, the process seemed more controlled

Rachel and Will were discharged around lunch time the following day.  Owen and Ella were really excited.
