Owen at Mt. Baker Gymnastics- his first official day of gymnastics

On 2/19 Owen had his first official day of gymnastics.  The Saturday before he had a trial lesson and loved it.  His instructor is Coach Bert whose middle name is Owen so there was a bonding moment.  Owen was extremely enthusiastic his first day at the gym. It was a great combination of energy, trying everything out, cutting in line because he was so excited, yet still listening to the coaches.

On his first official lesson day, Owen  was getting an understanding of the drills.  Needless to say, Rachel and I were very proud and happy.  Owen has been doing his gymnastics "tricks" at home for several months so it was awesome watching jump right in with a class that had been practicing for several months.
